Here are my science observations hope you like it.

Science Observations - Room 17

Heating

The bottom of the can is starting to get burnt (brown)

There is steam coming out the top (a slither)

Hear bubbling/sizzling

Smell meths burning

Heat waves coming out of the top of the can like a mini heat wave

Can see condensation on the outside of the can

Cooling

Reacted like air in space - it sucked all the air out (massive vacuum)

All the air was sucked out and water was sucked into it

The can was completely crushed/demolished!

The bottom of the can had a crater like a volcano

The can instantly be crushed when we put it in iced water

Popping sound/crunching

So if you're wondering if I crushed those cans with my hands then you're wrong.
So what we did first was that put on an element and waited till the water was boiling next we got some tongs and gripped the can firmly with the tongs and quickly dunked in a bowl of cold water with ice in it (beware the experiment will only work if you dunk it in with the top of the can going in first). When you dunk it in it will IMPLODE.
So if you're wondering how did it implode,well then here is what happened.
When it imploded it created a vacuum because there was a low pressure inside the can and a high in the bowl of water
all the air was sucked out and while that was happening water filling up which made the can crush itself. Remember before doing this if you're young ask your parents permission before.

Here is My Cross Country Training 


                     On cross-country day, we ran around school dodging obstacles. When we started we went off in year groups and genders, for example in the first round, the year 2 boys started then the year 2 girls and so on. Once we finished we were given our place number I came 16th. I hope you enjoy the graph I made.
